ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The enrolment process begins when you contact Hills International College or one of our associated Agencies and make an enquiry. You will be sent English test information. The English test will have a reading component and some writing activities, followed by a Zoom call where your Listening and Speaking will be assessed. When HIC receives the results, we will make a decision whether or not to process your request for enrolment. If your English results allow, a pathway plan for your studies at Hills International College will be provided, with a link to the online application form. Your enrolment cannot proceed unless all documents are filled in/provided. Once HIC processes your application, you will be sent a Letter of Offer, along with a Written Agreement, and other paperwork. You will need to review and sign the documentation, and pay your $550 Application and Enrolment Confirmation Fee before HIC can issue a Confirmation of Enrolment and a Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare letter (if required).

Students who wish to study in the High School Preparation Program must have an appropriate study visa issued by the Australian Government for the duration of the course. Requirements for the issue of a student visa may vary, depending on the student’s country of origin. Full details can be obtained from education agents, the Australian Embassy, High Commission or Consulate in the student’s country or from the website of the Australian Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs: www.immi.gov.au

An English language assessment is essential for all international students, so we can place them in the correct course. This can be done remotely before arrival.
